Scholarship Opportunities
The IREM-LA Scholarship
An IREM®-LA Scholarship helps reduce the financial burden of pursuing your property management education and professional designations, including the CPM® (Certified Property Manager), ARM® (Accredited Residential Manager), and ACoM® (Accredited Commercial Manager).
Each applicant may receive up to $1,500 in lifetime scholarship awards, which can be applied toward IREM® course offerings. All courses funded through a scholarship must be completed within 12 months of applying. Scholarships cannot be applied toward IREM®-LA workshops, seminars, or IREM® Skills Badges.
Before applying through the IREM®-LA Chapter, applicants are required to first apply for a scholarship with the IREM® Foundation. The amount awarded by the IREM® Foundation must be disclosed prior to receiving any additional funds from IREM®-LA. How to Apply
An IREM-LA Scholarship is available to current Chapter members, including CPM® Candidates, ACoM®, ARM®, Associate, and Student members, who are current on their national and chapter dues and are actively pursuing an IREM® designation. view a complete list of certification courses offered by IREM® here.
Scholarship applications are accepted year-round. Complete applications can expect a response within fifteen (15) business days from the Scholarship Review Committee. Should you have any questions about your application, please get in touch with our team at education@iremla.org.

With the IREM®-LA Scholarship Fund
The IREM®-LA Scholarship Fund is dedicated to strengthening real estate careers and advancing industry best practices through property management education in Los Angeles. Funded by the proceeds from our annual pickleball tournament fundraiser held each September and through the generous contributions of IREM®-LA members and benefactors, the Fund provides crucial financial support for designations like the CPM®, ARM®, and ACoM®.
By reducing the financial barriers to pursuing an IREM® education, the Scholarship Fund empowers future leaders in real estate management to focus on developing their professional expertise, leadership skills, and long-term career growth. Managed by a volunteer committee of past IREM®-LA chapter presidents and officers, the Fund operates with fairness and consideration of individual merit, financial need, and available resources. This ensures that each scholarship is awarded to those best positioned to benefit from the opportunity.
