Scholarship Background

The mission statement of The Scholarship Fund, "The Fund" is to enhance real estate careers and promote the Institute's "Industry Best Practices" through IREM-LA educational courses. The Fund reaches out to and assists those interested in pursuing an education in real estate management and achieving an IREM credential. In an effort to achieve this goal, the Fund was created and is made possible through generous contributions made by our members and benefactors.

The Fund Committee is made up of past IREM-LA Chapter presidents and officers. The Fund Committee members volunteer their time to raise monies and award scholarships on a fair and equitable basis. The Fund Committee designs programs tailored to minimize the financial costs associated with higher education, permitting the recipients to devote more time to pursuing their academic goals and advancing their leadership skills.

The criteria indicated are guidelines, and each application will be reviewed based on individual merit, financial need, and the availability of scholarship funds.

The Fund Committee wishes you all the best in your educational aspirations and looks forward to your continued involvement with the Los Angeles IREM Chapter!

Jaymi Lacap, CPM – 2024 President of IREM Los Angeles
